Bright, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting aromas of caramel, cedar, and charred oak with supporting notes of black pepper, cocoa, vanilla, and corn/maize. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering a caramel-driven core with flavors of marzipan, nectarine, and dried fruits. The finish is long. Full-bodied and substantially balanced with a meaty texture.
