Brilliant, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of sultanas, candied ginger, and malted barley with supporting notes of nutmeg, nougat, and vanilla. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a dried fruits-driven core with flavors of cinnamon, roasted nuts, oak, and sultanas. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and impeccably balanced with a velvety texture.
