Brilliant, deep chestnut color. The aromatics are very intense, giving aromas of vanilla, caramel, stone fruit, and cereal with supporting notes of marzipan and baking spices. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering a butterscotch-driven core with supporting flavors of smoked meat, five spice, and nougat. The finish is sharp. Full-bodied and lacking full balance with a chewy texture.
