The judges loved the balance and length of this Whisky and thought it would be a fantastic gift.

Brilliant, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of fruitcake, honey, Sherry, raisin, and black tea with supporting notes of charred oak, sultanas, and ginger biscuits. The palate is in substantial agreement with the nose delivering an oak-driven core with flavors reminiscent of ginger, dried fruits, malted barley, nectarine, and earth. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with a silky texture.
