Brilliant, deep golden color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of cereal, charred oak, baking spices, nutmeg, and gingerbread with supporting notes of candied ginger, stone fruit, toffee, and mocha. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering an oak-driven core with supporting flavors of orange peel, smoked meat, black cherry, and allspice. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and favorably balanced with a meaty texture.
