The judges were fond of the earthy notes and beautifully balanced use of oak.

Bright, medium golden color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of agave, baking spices, and oak with supporting notes of candied ginger and mineral. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering an agave-driven core with flavors of leather, dried fruits, and earth. The finish is long. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a silky texture.
