Bright, medium amber color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting aromas of cedar, cigar box, baking spices, grains, and charred oak with supporting notes of dried fruits, black cherry, and chocolate. The palate is in full accord with the nose delivering a cinnamon-driven core with flavors of apricot, treacle, oak, chocolate, maple syrup, white pepper, and fruitcake. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a silky texture.
