iichiko Saiten Honkaku Shochu

Serve with hot water in the mode of a Toddy with a twist of lemon.

It's a great representation of a big and bold, barley-forward Shochu.

Brilliant, crystal clear. The aromatics are very intense, presenting scents of honeydew, citrus zest, and jasmine with supporting notes of wild flowers and slate. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering a melon-driven core with flavors reminiscent of cereal, white peach, and mineral. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with a supple texture.
