The judges loved the balance and the length, as well as the versatility in a variety of drinks.

Bright, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of baking spices, grains, and oak with supporting notes of marzipan, vanilla bean, and charred oak. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a caramel-driven core with flavors of oak, vanilla, honey, and apricot stone. The finish is long. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a meaty texture.
