Cazcanes Rosa Single Barrel No. 9 Blanco, 100% Agave Tequila

Serve neat or chilled, perhaps with citrus or in a number of cocktails including the Margarita, and Tequila-based Batida.

The judges liked the bold flavors but wanted more fresh agave and less heat on the finish.

Brilliant, crystal clear with faint ruby color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of agave, cantaloupe, citrus, and lemon zest with supporting notes of tropical fruit, wild flowers, honeydew, and black pepper. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering an agave-driven core with flavors of baked apple, citrus, honey, and chamomile. The finish is dry. Light to medium-bodied and nicely balanced with a silky texture.
