Bright, medium golden color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of almond butter, oak, cinnamon, and ginger biscuits with supporting notes of fruitcake, vanilla, and marzipan. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering a dried fruits-driven core with flavors reminiscent of caramel, raisin, fruitcake, charred oak, and brown sugar. The finish is a bit dull. Medium to full-bodied and out of balance with a rich texture.
