The TAG Global Spirits Awards, created by world-renowned mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim, U.S. industry veteran David Grapshi, and American ambassador of Mexico’s National Chamber for the Tequila Industry Julio Bermejo, proudly announces the 2025 Best in Show recipients.
After four days of judging by the industry’s most respected experts, over 250 medals were awarded, including 46 platinum, 62 double gold, 18 gold, and over 100 silver & bronze. With categories reflecting the uniqueness and diversity of the spirits industry, 28 brands were designated as Best in Show.
More than a score and a medal, TAG Global Spirits provides a comprehensive assessment of the world’s greatest spirits, evaluating products on over a dozen aspects and offering professional tasting notes. This year’s judging panel included Tony Abou Ganim, David Grapshi, Julio Bermejo, Jake Davenport, Sara Sergent, Roland K. Ng, Ross Simon, Jennifer Yim, Joy Figeuroa, and Max Solano. Collectively, they bring decades of global experience spanning mixology, hospitality leadership, spirits education, and beverage innovation. For 2025, all entries were evaluated using the IMIManage Tastings portal, streamlining judging and ensuring accurate, consistent scoring across the competition.
