Jake Davenport is a 20 year veteran of the industry with a passion for all things spirited. You can find his nose in a book and a glass in his hand—as he is always looking to further his education of beer, wine, sake, and of course spirits. Jake is a certified: Sommelier, Cicerone, Sake Professional, Specialist of Spirits, Shochu Advisor & recipient of the Danielle Quintana Award. A start in bartending lead to becoming the Sommelier for Scotch 80, the fine-dining restaurant at the top of the Palms Casino. Jake then cut his teeth in management, as the Bar Manager at Monzu Italian Kitchen. Now the Assistant Mixologist at the Wynn, Jake oversees interviewing, onboarding and training, and the daily operations of the Beverage Development Kitchen. Always looking to gain another certification or help others achieve theirs, Jake has served on the USBG Board of Education.
