BHAKTA 1984 Armagnac

Serve neat but with a splash of water to enhance and bloom the aromatics and palate. Cocktails are possible, of course, but we suggest that this Armagnac be enjoyed as a solo act.

Armagnac is in need of no assistance but with Calvados casks it has found its ideal partner.

Bright, medium copper color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of dried fruits, baked apple, and cinnamon with supporting notes of apricot stone, ginger biscuits, and wild flowers. The palate echoes the nose delivering a peach-driven core with flavors akin to marzipan, quince, oak, and cashew butter. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with a chewy texture.
