BHAKTA 2013 Straight Rye Whiskey

It's wonderfully elegant as it seamlessly marries Rye and Calvados.

Bright, deep mahogany color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of charred oak, apricot, vanilla bean, marzipan, rye, and raisin with supporting notes of peach, red cherry, red apple, and raisin. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a dried fruits-driven core with flavors of baked apple, pear, nutmeg, vanilla bean, and crème brulee. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and impeccably balanced with a chewy texture.
