Blue Run Reflection II Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Serve this Bourbon neat or perhaps with a bit of ice — cocktail applications seem to be a bit gratuitous.

The judges noted that this is Bourbon would be a great dessert companion — or maybe it's dessert in a glass.

Bright, medium mahogany color. The nose is subtle, offering scents of vanilla bean, baking spices, baked apple, dried fruits, and gingerbread with supporting notes of nutmeg, candied ginger, and honey. The palate is in full accord with the nose delivering a baked apple-driven core with flavors of baking spices, dried fruits, pecan, walnut, and hints of vanilla fudge. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a chewy texture.
