The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of leather, oak, cinnamon, cereal, pecan, fruitcake, and black currant with supporting notes of leather and treacle. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering a maple touched oak-driven core with supporting flavors of cereal, vanilla, charred oak, and treacle. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and favorably balanced with a silky texture.
