The judges found to be Vermouth-forward with dry and complex notes not found in most prepared Manhattans.

Brilliant, medium amber color. The aromatics are very intense, offering aromas of red currant and five spice with supporting notes of dried fruits and cardamon. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a chocolate-driven core with supporting flavors of roasted nuts, sultanas, and oak. The finish is tart with lingering red berry notes. Medium to full-bodied and impeccably balanced with a supple texture.
