The judges found this Tequila to be dominated by oak.

Bright, light golden color. The aromatics are very intense, giving aromas of treacle, molasses, and baked apple with supporting notes of honey, charred oak, and leather. The palate is softer than the nose delivering an oak-driven core with supporting flavors of charred oak, baking spices, fruitcake, vanilla, and cinnamon. The finish is sharp. Medium-bodied and out of balance with a meaty texture.
