Ideal neat with just a splash of water or over one large cube of ice. We love this in all of our favorite Whiskey cocktails but crave it in a Vieux Carre.

The judges loved the complexity and the generosity of flavors but wondered if the barrel notes were competing with each other.

Bright, medium copper color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting aromas of dark chocolate, malted barley, and caramel with supporting notes of candied citrus zest, vanilla bean, black tea, and five spice. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering an earth-driven core with flavors of treacle, toffee, cereal, and roasted nuts. The finish is dry. Full-bodied and substantially balanced with a supple texture.
