Brilliant, dark black color being nearly opaque. The nose is subtle, offering scents of roasted walnuts and marzipan with supporting notes of molasses and roasted nut tarts. The palate confirms the nose delivering a roasted nut-driven core with flavors of baking spices, praline, vanilla and hints of walnut bitters. The finish is long and drier than expected. Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced with a rich texture.
