Cutwater Spirits Bali Hai Tiki Gold Flavored Rum

This is a nice Tiki-drink base as it works seamlessly with citrus, tropical fruits, and modifiers found in the genre.

The judges liked the natural flavors but wished they were more pronounced.

Brilliant, medium copper color. The aromatics are intense, presenting aromas of pineapple, coconut, molasses, and brown sugar with supporting notes of vanilla bean, pecan, and cocoa. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering a tropical fruit-driven core with flavors of tropical fruit and cinnamon. The finish is dull. Light to medium-bodied and substantially balanced with a fat texture.
