The judges were a bit torn with some loving the lush and generous flavors while others felt it needed more finesse.

Bright, light golden color. The aromatics are very intense, giving aromas of fruitcake, gingerbread, molasses, sultanas, and almonds with supporting notes of marzipan and candied ginger. The palate is softer than the nose delivering a vanilla-driven core with supporting flavors of fruitcake, caramel, and crème brulee. The finish is sweet. Medium-bodied and largely balanced with a velvety texture.
