The judges really liked the natural tea flavors — surprisingly pure and satisfying.

Bright, medium mahogany color. The aromatics are intense, giving aromas of black tea and apricot stone with supporting notes of earth. The palate is in substantial agreement with the nose delivering a black tea-driven core with supporting flavors of dried fruits, honey, and hints of malt. The finish is long. Light to medium-bodied and ideally balanced with a supple texture.
