Brilliant, deep crimson/mahogany color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of dried herbs, eucalyptus, and forest floor with supporting notes of earth, fennel, anise, and orange peel. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a dried fruits-driven core with flavors of apricot stone, rhubarb, and peppermint. The finish is tart. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced with an opulent texture.
