The judges loved the comforting scents and flavors finding it decadent and sweet but never cloying. A classic.

Deep, dark garnet color. The nose is warming and nostalgic offering scents of Italian almond cookies, nougat, marzipan, and cherry with accents of orange peel. The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a rich yet nimble almond, marzipan-driven core with accents of cherry, candied orange peel, and caramel. The finish is long and alluring. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a voluptuous texture.
