El Tequileño Gran Reserva Reposado, 100% Agave Tequila

This is a cocktail-oriented Reposado working well with all of the classics but veering toward pairings with fresh citrus.

A simple and congenial Tequila with no challenging angles — a great introductory Reposado.

Bright, pale golden color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of treacle, oak, and cinnamon with supporting notes of agave and black pepper. The palate is softer than the nose delivering an almond-driven core with flavors reminiscent of leather, treacle, and ginger. The finish is sweet. Medium-bodied and largely balanced with a silky texture.
