Bright, deep copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of clove, cocoa, cedar, and baked apple with supporting notes of wet stones, brown sugar, honey, cereal, and oak. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering a caramel-driven core with flavors of chocolate, charred oak, and baking spices. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a rich texture.
