Bright, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, giving aromas of vanilla, treacle, corn/maize, caramel, and oak with supporting notes of fruitcake and baking spices. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering a roasted nuts-driven core with supporting flavors of cigar box, baked apple, molasses, marzipan, dried fruits, and charred oak. The finish is long. Full-bodied and largely balanced with a velvety texture.
