Bright, deep mahogany color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting scents of oak, apricot, baked apple, and vanilla bean with supporting notes of fruitcake, black pepper, and rye. The palate is in full accord with the nose delivering an oak-driven core with flavors of dried fruits, black pepper, ginger, leather, and red currant. The finish is long. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a voluptuous texture.
