The judges loved the unctuous nature of this malt as it felt like a beautiful cinnamon pastry.

Brilliant, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of apricot, dried fruits, baking spices, Sherry, and malted barley with supporting notes of quince, oak, and walnut. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering a dried fruits-driven core with flavors reminiscent of baking spices, ginger, charred oak, and caramel. The finish is dry. Medium to full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with a velvety texture.
