Brilliant, clear copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting scents of dried fruits, caramel, candied ginger, apricot, cereal, and fruitcake with supporting notes of dried fruits and honey. The palate is in full accord with the nose delivering an oak-driven core with flavors akin to baked apple, sultanas, and treacle. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and flawlessly balanced with a silky texture.
