Brilliant, deep mahogany color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of agave, honey, smoked meat, leather, and ginger biscuits with supporting notes of five spice and fig. The palate is in substantial agreement with the nose delivering an agave-driven core with flavors of brown sugar, toffee, charred oak, and baking spices. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a meaty texture.
