The aromatics are very intense, giving aromas of charred oak, red cherry, and baking spices with supporting notes of vanilla bean, marzipan, red currant, pecan, and chocolate. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering a baking spices-driven core with supporting flavors of allspice, black tea, fruitcake, gingerbread, nutmeg, rye, and vanilla. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and favorably balanced with a chewy texture.
