Brilliant, medium amber color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of cereal, chocolate, charred oak, crème brulee, and wet stones with supporting notes of coffee, cola nut, earth, campfire, and leather. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering a cigar box-driven core with flavors reminiscent of black pepper, fruitcake, and charred oak. The finish is long. Full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with a silky texture.
