Brilliant, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, giving aromas of rye, allspice, butterscotch, and oak with supporting notes of gingerbread and treacle. The palate echoes the nose delivering a roasted nuts-driven core with supporting flavors of cocoa, brown sugar, and forest floor. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and favorably balanced with a chewy texture.
