The judges found a lot to like in this Whiskey but thought that the diverse flavors were competing in the glass.

Brilliant, deep copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, offering aromas of toasted cereal, baked apple, and baking spices with supporting notes of almonds and peach. The palate is in substantial agreement with the nose delivering a baking spices-driven core with supporting flavors of cigar box, chocolate, vanilla bean, and dried fruits. The finish is dry. Full-bodied and largely balanced with a lean texture.
