Bright, dark mahogany color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of leather, dark chocolate, black tea, and brown sugar with supporting notes of butterscotch, fig, and smoked meat. The palate is in substantial agreement with the nose delivering an oak-driven core with flavors of dried fruits, baking spices, cocoa, and earth. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a meaty texture.
