Bright, deep mahogany color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of vanilla bean, oak, dried fruits, and red plum with supporting notes of ginger and sultanas. The palate echoes the nose delivering an oak-driven core with flavors reminiscent of rye, nutmeg, dark chocolate, black pepper, red currant, and allspice. The finish is long. Full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with a chewy texture.
