Middle West Spirits Sherry Cask Finished 6 Years Old Bourbon Whiskey

The viscous nature of this whiskey would be great in a cocktail with Italian Vermouth like a Boulevardier or Manhattan. Great with a splash of water neat.

A great example of a Sherry cask finish on a classic Bourbon.

Bright, medium amber color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting scents of gingerbread, cereal, molasses, cigar box, dried fruits, and allspice with supporting notes of dried fruits, black cherry, charred oak, and nutmeg. The palate is in full accord with the nose delivering an oak-driven core with flavors of marzipan, cereal, cigar box, fruitcake, and treacle. The finish is long. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a silky texture.
