The judges were unanimous in their love for this bold Rye with a clever Rum accent.

Bright, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting aromas of fruitcake, leather, clove, cigar box, dried fruits, and treacle with supporting notes of apricot stone and butterscotch. The palate is more intense than the nose delivering a dried fruits-driven core with flavors of fruitcake, oak, gingerbread, and vanilla. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and nicely balanced with a voluptuous texture.
