The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of baking spices, cinnamon, crème brulee, corn/maize, marzipan, and fruitcake with supporting notes of charred oak, fruitcake, and roasted nuts. The palate echoes the nose delivering an oak-driven core with flavors akin to marzipan, baking spices, dried fruits, fig, and molasses. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with a silky texture.
