The judges remarked on the spicy rye notes and rich flavors but really loved how easy it is to sip neat.

Brilliant, medium tawny/amber color. The nose is subtle, offering scents of rye, red cherry, black plum, and walnuts with supporting notes of black tea and cereal. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering an oak-driven core with supporting flavors of cardamon, white pepper, pecan, and brown sugar. The finish is long and lingering. Full-bodied and favorably balanced with a meaty texture.
