Bright, clear golden color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of fruitcake, cinnamon, and sultanas with supporting notes of baking spices, red plum, and treacle. The palate is in substantial agreement with the nose delivering an oak-driven core with flavors reminiscent of cinnamon, maple syrup, almonds, and honey. The finish is sharp yet sweet. Medium to full-bodied and largely balanced with a silky texture.
