The judges loved the texture and the balance with complex flavor and aromas.

Bright, medium ruby/amber color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting scents of baking spices and charred oak with supporting notes of orange peel and dried fruits. The palate is in full accord with the nose delivering a Rye Whiskey-driven core with flavors akin to brown sugar, red currant, and marzipan. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and flawlessly balanced with a supple texture.
