The judges loved the approachable nature and found it to be a great intro to the classic cocktail.

Bright, deep burgundy color. The aromatics are very intense, offering scents of rye and black currant with supporting notes of red cherry and bitters. The palate is in substantial agreement with the nose delivering a Whiskey-driven core with flavors of dried fruits, orange peel, and hints of clove. The finish is long and lingering. Medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced with a supple texture.
