Brilliant, medium golden color. The aromatics are very intense, presenting aromas of oak, baking spices, baked apple, pear, apricot stone, green apple, vanilla bean, treacle, and dried fruits with supporting notes of marzipan and butterscotch. The palate is in full accord with the nose delivering a honey-driven core with flavors of apricot, baking spices, malted barley, oak, and treacle. The finish is long. Full-bodied and flawlessly balanced with a creamy texture.
