The judges found this Rye to be ultra balanced and appealing from first nosing to final sip.

Bright, medium copper/bronze color. The aromatics are very intense, giving scents of baking spices, dried fruits, sultanas, charred oak, and apricot with supporting notes of leather and quince. The palate substantially agrees with the nose delivering a dried fruits-driven core with flavors akin to charred oak, leather, peach, cinnamon, cereal, and roasted nuts. The finish is long. Full-bodied and pleasingly balanced with an opulent texture.
