Yamatoichi Makiba no Yume Shochu

Wonderful neat — right out of the refrigerator. An ideal aperitif for guests at a dinner party.

The judges were blown away by the complex aromatics and subtle balance of flavors.

Bright, crystal clear. The aromatics are very intense, presenting aromas of tropical fruit and pineapple with supporting notes of lychee and clay. The palate is softer than the nose delivering a tropical fruit-driven core with flavors of lychee, honeysuckle, and guava. The finish is crisp. Light-bodied and substantially balanced with a lean texture.
